25 May 2012 - Gummy Fruit Snack

It is always hard to find snacks, which is healthy for you, but I think this can be a nearly perfect solution.

You need: 

1 cup Mixed Berries
1/4 cup Water
1/2 cup Applesauce
1/2 cup Fruit Juice (any type)
2 envelopes Gelatin

How to do it:

1) Combine berries and water in a saucepan and heat them on a medium heat
2) Boil and cook them until berries are soft approx. 5 minutes
3) Get a blender and make a puree from the berries
4) Add applesauce to the puree and boil the mix and then put it aside
5) Mix the gelatin with the fruit juice and leave it for a minute
6) Add the hot berry mixture to the gelatin mix and stir until the gelatin fix the mix
7) Put the mix into a baking dish and then to the refrigerator for 3 hours
8) After it is cooled down you are ready to cut it to shapes
